He could walk into my bedroom every day like its a new world, having to check every moved item, or every new sock on the floor. He will be in such a nervous state, that I can snap my fingers 35 times in a row, and he will flinch at every one of them. Any luck finding out how to treat this? The only thing that seems to snap him out of it for a while for me, is catnip. My cat does the same exact thing. Cats love to drink running faucet water because it's fresh. Lets see you like the taste of water after it's sat in your bowl all day with you spit floating in it. Kitty also looks rather thirsty. You may actually want to supply them with another water dish. This way, if you are ever busy and forget to change/fill the water dishes, kitty won't be out of water! This also gives them some variety; and being the owner of four felines myself, I know all about cats and their desire for variety. Hope this helps!
