My cat does the same exact thing. He could walk into my bedroom every day like its a new world, having to check every moved item, or every new sock on the floor. He will be in such a nervous state, that I can snap my fingers 35 times in a row, and he will flinch at every one of them. Any luck finding out how to treat this? The only thing that seems to snap him out of it for a while for me, is catnip.
