I am a veterinary technician, so you can take my word for this. Cats love to drink running faucet water because it’s fresh. Lets see you like the taste of water after it’s sat in your bowl all day with you spit floating in it. Kitty also looks rather thirsty. You may actually want to supply them with another water dish. This way, if you are ever busy and forget to change/fill the water dishes, kitty won’t be out of water! This also gives them some variety; and being the owner of four felines myself, I know all about cats and their desire for variety.
Hope this helps!
I used to love watching my cat bat at the water droplets coming down from the faucet.
