Turkey 2009 – Part 6

Our next stop is the ancient city of Pergamon. It was the location of one of the Seven Churches of Revelation as well as the birthplace of modern medicine. The ruins perch high on a mountain overlooking the city of Bergama and contain the most amazing theatre we saw as well as one of the most complete temples.

Josh – First time commenter – long time follower… Nice video, looks like a great spot. I really like how you’ve split up your trip into several short videos – makes everything more interesting and gives it the attention it deserves. Well done!

Extraordinary, Josh! A superb tour from the perfect guide.

What a dream Pergamon is. Studied it briefly at school, once upon a time. The theartre is such a beautifully crafted structure, Fires my imagination to consider the crowds gathered there centuries ago. Oh to have watched a performance! I must get to Berlin.

You should get paid to do this.
