I try to make it up to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula every year to visit my good friend Nate and his wife. This is a video showing some of the things we saw when I was there in October.

Loved the colors, loved the music. Oh, we want to see more of Michigan. Wonder if I should ever make a quick stop there the next time I get to cross the Big Pond.

Hey Josh, It’s always fun to see these posts. And the midwest is so beautiful. The old houses were quite the discovery; they really highlighted the transitory nature of our lives here. Kinda sad but thought-provoking. Thanks!

Inspiring video, and I need it right now since I’m suck in snowy land right now. Parts of this video were at the level of professional cinematography for me, such as the golden leaf fade in and fade out as it was timed to the music. You are truly painting with light now, Josh. I’m definitely going to stay subscribed.
Only one question, where did you come across such great music? I notice that Fleet Foxes is on MySpace. Is that what you do, find myspace artists and ask if you can use their music. As a follow videographer, I’m very curious as to how you deal with this.

So UP = Upper peninsula, I was wondering the whole way through the video where you were. Wow, it’s really beautiful there.
