Cat Hair on furniture is always a problem, here is a way to help solve that. Please bear with me as I get used to this whole widescreen/HD thing.

Dude I have one word for you-DISGUSTING!

  2. Joel says:

I hate to say it, but some times I lick my hand, rather than using the paper towel. Tip, dont lick your hand twice, cat hair has a way of sticking to your tongue

  3. Nico says:

When I synced my iPod I got a message saying that the video wasn’t iPod compatible. I’m assuming it has something to do with the HD video, as previous episodes worked just fine.

  4. Cuoredifango says:

I watched the HD version and I can say that your new camera is great… I want absolutely one… the video?!?!? I know your problem I use another way, I’ll make a vlog about that in the next days

  5. Jen Simmons says:

Vacumns are good too. Congrats on the HD broadcast. It’s hillarious that you picked a disguisting thing to blow up so big! I’m interested to see what happens if you try to deinterlace the footage. It’s beautiful, but also clearly interlaced right now. I see lines…

  6. MDK says:

At least you have light colored hair to pick up. Try a black cat and white furniture.

  7. claire says:

A SWEATER? Unbelievably gross! But also strangely intriguing.

  8. James says:

The video was amazing. I have been in the market for a new HD cam and I wasn’t sure which way to go. I was curious, the first video is just regular DV mode on the new Canon… right? The second being HD. I too see interlacing going on, not sure why? I’ve been waiting for the Canon XT1 which shoots to a hard drive at 720P or other modes… 1080i is awesome, but unless you’re on a plasma or lcd over 60″ in size, 720P and 1080i are nearly identical… and 720p files are smaller. :) (i hope)

  9. iTux says:

The video looks great on my new AppleTV. :D

  10. eddie says:

DUDE! Wouldn’t a lint roller that they use on tux’s work for th cat hair?

  11. blabla says:

Actually, if you brush your cat every day, you’ll never have a cat hair problem.

  12. Jen says:

Better yet, get rid of it of the cat! Icky. I am buying you a lint brush for a wedding gift. Excuse me, I need to shower now after watching that.

  13. missb says:

Wow! For a little cat she sure does shed a lot. Our cat has fairly long hair and I don’t find it to be too much of a problem…then again, my eyes aren’t HD.

    That must be the difference.

  14. Michael Tyas says:

If you pick up a lint roller at the dollar store it should do the trick quickly and be economical too.

  15. Love the new camera, looks great man.

  16. trine says:

looks like you’ve got a bit of cat hair on your chin josh! ;-)

sorry, i can’t believe no one else made that joke. i had to :) camera looks great.

  17. Aaron says:

    High defination dirt. hmmmm

  18. Rick Rey says:

The footage looks awesome! Oh, and the cat hair is pretty gross.

  19. MSUgal says:

I am allergice to cat hair and just watching
that makes me feel like I am going to sneeze!

    nice camera.

  20. Len says:

Amazing video quality. Could you tell us what settings you used on the camera and then on iMovie when you exported it for uploading?

  21. RDude says:

Putting up with a little cat fur is no big deal when dealing with cats. They’re great companions to have around. Keep the cat, loose the chicks who say otherwise

  22. Largo says:

    I know the feeling . . . .

With time you can make a rug out of it !

  23. Gabe Serafini says:

    Haaaa
    OMG…..Your cat is adorable!
But ya know….you can go ta’ Wal Mart :) :) and get one of them fancy Lint roller thingys :)

  24. Nice HD cam, but perhaps you could find something less gross next time, lol. ;)
