I'm on my second cat who plays fetch. A fun little guy, but too clever and curious for his own good, sometimes. And yes, the playing fetch thing seems to go hand-in-hand with a love for putting toys in the toilet and/or water bowl, as well as chewing through every cord in the house!!! Ha! My husband has a little miniature dust pan and dust brush (the brush is about 6in. across) and my kitten grabs it with teeth and paws and throws it up and aroudn the house. Then one day he brought it up to me on the couch so I started throwing it off the couch - just to get it off the couch mind you - now it is a regular game. Now he willl find one of his toys (usually a squidgy rugby ball) and nudge us until someone throws it. His favourite is chasing it down the stairs.
