Spending Halloween in an apartment is very different than spending it in a house.

Dude, I trick-or-treated every year I was in high school and even wrote an article for the school paper about why trick-or-treating was more appropriate for older kids than younger (they’re more creative, have later bedtimes, keeps them out of trouble if they’re allowed to do it, etc.). And yes, how do I install a spam-filter on my blog?

If you like trick or treaters, you are welcome to take ours. ALL OF THEM. You’d think that smoke detectors would be smart enough to tell the difference between real smoke and fake smoke.

I love the scarecrow idea! But I grew up in an apartment and trick-or-treating was the BEST because you’d get a small group of kids together from different buildings in the same neighborhood and then went to ALL the buildings! We cleaned up! Also, the lobbies of the buildings would host parties so it was like going to 20 parties in one night! I don’t know what happened to trick-or-treating…no one in the city does it any more. Kids just parade up every avenue and get candy from stores. Some of them aren’t even in costume. So lame.

Hahahahhah outstanding! I really, really enjoyed that, and it was not a punishment in any sense of the word. What do you use to film your movies?

I did the same thing when I was a kid and looked like one of the decorative ghosts so people couldn’t tell which one was me and which was deco – but I wasn’t so heavily abused, ha!
