With my new iPod I am finally getting caught up on old videos that I hadn’t seen and found this two-part video of yours fascinating. Of course I have a house full of theatre technicians here, so everything was familiar–and yet different. I particularly enjoyed the bit of history about the separate seating for African-Americans. How nice that we have evolved from those days!

Anyway, thanks for the tour of community theatre in Grand Rapids.

Great, I love learning about places renovating in hopes that they will continuing what was once something so beautiful for cities to have, and it is beautiful inside that theatre.

Good stuff! They’re currently renovating the old theater I used to work at in San Diego, so hopefully the result will be something similar!

Good for Grand Rapids and good for you for a terrific overview of the renovation. I particularly liked the before and after shots.
