Josh on Sports - Part 3

Posted on Thursday 24 August 2006

I realize that everyone has their own unique passions. We don’t all need to enjoy the same things, but here is my final attempt to join the masses of people who enjoy sports. Nevertheless, I think my passion for Videoblogging can rival even the most dedicated sports fan. To each his own!

very true - any sport where you get to where special shoes is good in my book… damn my mother and our family shoe fixation.

Woooow Josh, that bowling alley is empty! The one by my house sometimes has an hour wait! And I do have my own sweet pair of bowling shoes, as well as a pair of bowling balls!

This series is awesome, can’t wait for the next one… sophomore year of college starts monday… whupee…

See, you’re forgetting about the other great sport where you can drink: miniature golf. The problem, of course, is that miniature golf has such a dark history of violence by its players, which tends to color one’s interpretation of the elegance of the game. Another great sport where you can drink: writing comments on videoblogs. Awesome. Great vid series.

I stink at bowling too- and yet whenever I go bowling- every few years or so- I find it to be huge fun. It’s a strange feeling to happily stink at something.

I love how you got your strike by bowling backwards with the equivalent of a diaper shot.

Be careful what you wish for. Before long you’ll be going every week. Then you’ll be supporting your local bowling team every Sunday. Before you know it, you’ll be getting engaged at half time in a league match, down on one knee with a ring in one hand and a taco in the other.

Bowling is an awesome thing to do with friends. I can’t comment on the beer but I’d assume that it would enhance the sport quite a bit.

Ooh I’m terrible at bowling! But you’re right — it’s fun as long as you don’t take it seriously, have a few beers, and just goof around! Congrats onfinding “your” sport! ;)

Ahhhh! Bowling! I am the worst bowler of all time but I still LOVE bowling! It’s fun no matter how lousy you are at it!

    That’s my kind of sport!
