that was very funny. you have touched on my secret shame. my father was captain of all the teams, and his name and picture were on pretty much every wall at my school. there was nothing he couldn't play. whereas i... uh... i can't even play dead.

hi there. i discovered your vlog recently and love it. i have a (perhaps uninformed) question: how do you embed your blip.tv clips into your wordpress posts? i also have a blip account and a wordpress blog, but when i auto cross-post videos from blip, i don't get the same embedded QT movie file, just a still image linking to the QT file. advice?

gracias,
audubon

At least you tried...I never even tried.

I firmly believe that the best way to enjoy sports is to go to a live event with a major team and drink a lot of beer and eat hot dogs.

Thanks Josh, this put a smile on my face. But your videos often do. But really thanks.
Your angles and edits are often good, I think I liked the voice over in this the best.
As for sports it may help if you found one you like to play or were good at playing. Maybe it is best just to imagine how excited you get over media. Well that is just how some people feel about sports. I'm not one of those sports people but maybe that is one way to look at it.
Take care man.

At least they made you "manager" in 7th grade. They never wanted to see me again after my tryouts. Stupid SCCS Spartans.

Didn't you play tennis at Chi-Hi? Or am I just crazy? I could have sworn that you were in the van when Kyle Yonker hit me in the eye with a baby carrot and made me blind for a few days (but then again, my vision was kind of blurry . . .)

I'm still waiting for the moment when you reveal the obscure and amazing sport you mastered when nobody was looking. Jai alai? Jujitsu? Wife-carrying?

Good music choice!

I was wondering- and stupidly, nervous- the whole time about the camera, hoping it wasn't going to get pegged with the ball by accident. So, like Steve, I really enjoyed the very last shot...:)

I want to help you with your understanding of why people, "really get into sports."
It might be a problem with the lens you're viewing it with.
Try imagining a basketball game as physcial jazz.
People get into it for all the same reasons people get into videoblogging.
I could list these if you like, but it might be better if you come up with your own reasons.
