On Thursday before Vloggercon weekend, I met a whole mess of other Videobloggers. After that, I actually got to see some of the city!
I made a video about the bridge mentioned in the video here: Stone Farm

it seems that you have had a lot of fun in san francisco…
The one thing we didn’t get to do was hit that bridge. But at least we can live vicariously through this video
Thanks!
Josh, that nostalgic song kills me when you pan over Alcatraz!
It was fun to be back in San Fran via your vlog…Thanks! It seems that whenever we are there, the bridge is always shrouded in mists…Glad you got a sunny day.
It was nice meeting you at the conference. Looks like you had a lot of fun in San Fran!

you’re editing is impeccable; wish I could’ve went to vloggercon but this sufficed
thanks
Josh, you mentioned that the Golden Gate was bigger than the Mackinaw Bridge…actually that’s not true. The GG is 2.74 kilometers long…the Mackinac Bridge is over 8 kilometers long, about 3 times longer.
Sounds like you’re having a good time.

I had such a great time at Vloggercon. It was great meeting everyone including you Josh. My only regret was that I did not stay in San Francisco longer. It would have been great to have gotten there early and stayed later than I did. And to have hung out with eveyone else who came early and stayed late and went to see the sites. I didn’t get to see the bridge while I was out there so thanks for sharing your trip to see the Golden Gate here.
Hey, Josh, killer video, as always (and Tony B’s warbling was a nice touch). As someone who lives in the SF Bay Area, we need the occasional slap upside the head to remind us what an amazing place this is. :~)
Aw, I was smiling through the whole thing. It’s fun to see everyone’s adventures outside of the conference walls.
…i just realized watching this video was more exciting than actually standing on it. That’s pretty lame on my part isn’t it?
Awww man…Tony Bennett got it right, for sure. I left my heart there back in February, and my biggest regret is that I couldn’t be there again with all of you for Vloggercon.
The one thing I DIDN’T do while in San Francisco was sightsee! No bridge, no beach, nada! I’ll have to do it all on a different trip. It was soooooo fabulous meeting you at Vloggercon and I hope get I see you again before Vloggercon ‘07!
argh, you just had *such* a great time didn’t you..
check out my new abode, all fresh and new and panned too (oph yes baby) and i see you in august..
Yeah.. I didn’t get to the bridge either. Thanks for the great video of it though! It was awesome meeting you Josh, even if only briefly. I wished I could have chatted with you more! Maybe next event. Definately a super cool experience. I kind of feel like I know how you must have felt at vloggercue now
You’re all so lucky that it wasn’t shrouded in fog!
Let me feel good that a greater awareness of your life, although we are very far apart, our way of life are different but our hearts are interlinked
as if I wasn’t oozing with gratitude already for living in NY, watching this made me realize how lucky I am that places like the Brooklyn Bridge are so easily palpable now. thanks.

I think that one the best ways to make a rather simple yet fun vlog is to take your cam with you on a ride or just a stroll across the city and take random videos of anything. There are a million things happening in a city at the same time, especially in a city like San Francisco. you’d be surprised at the things that you might see and get to capture.
Hey Josh I just came across your video on the Internet Archives website while I was searching for video about SF. I then visited your website and it’s pretty sweet! I’d like to know more about your love for vlogging, and more importantly how you started. It’s something I might be interested in, too! If you care to respond you can email me. Thanks in advance.
