    Hey Skinny Dude!

    That was great, thank you.

You climbed that dune so I don’t have to.

    Yee Haw!

  2. Anthony says:

Blue thermals, funny no vis reference, great view of the sun coming through those clouds over the lake and sacrificial runs for us….wow thanks.

What a beautifull spot! Thanks for getting all chapped for the greater good.

…and you are far too young to be so familiar with the classic 80′s music head-bobbing. You’re an old soul.

  4. i felt bad for you when you ran down and left the camera at the top but it looked really good so i’d say it was worth it

  5. Dennis says:

Yeah, great video. Please tell me there was someone with you to help with production. If not, you climbed that dune at least 3 or 4 times.

  6. Des says:

that was fantastic! I think we have similar music tastes. Which makes your vlogs all the more enjoyable. I loved the money shot at the end. Michigan looks pretty good I might add. I hope you got your hot chocolate.

  7. croquetbroom says:

thanks to technology I can wish I could go with you on your adventures

  8. Wow, that’s a lake? If you lack exercise maybe you could get a stationary bike, but it’s definitely not as close to nature as hiking.

  9. Will says:

you ran up and down that dune three times?
    great one!

  10. Matthew J says:

Stuff like that makes me miss West Michigan. I may be coming back in to the area soon, albeit under some rather unfortunate circumstances. Still, maybe we should do a vlogger meetup. Are there many more West Michigan vloggers? Anyway, nicely captured natural beauty. No where else is quite like it. Cheers.

  11. Bill says:

Wonderful piece of work. How were you able to hold the camera so still? Did you have an assistant?

  12. Erin says:

I loved when you were running down the hill. Hilarious! It must take a real outdoors person to be hiking in the middle of a snowstorm when it’s windy… and a real vlogger to get all the different angles while having to go up and down the dune to do so! Great work :)

  13. SN says:

oooh. gotta love a winter lake. sometimes all that gray can be beautiful. nice post josh.

  14. Eric Lorentz says:

I would only be able to stay in the snow maybe a day.

After that, give me my dry, hot, texas.

  15. raster says:

Josh, just wondering… Did you secure the rights to legally use the music?

  16. Batman Geek says:

great post…….heard about you from bicycle-sidewalk…..amont others first chance I had to check you out…..glad I did, I WILL be back :) Southern Ohio and Michigan, same lousy/great weather….

  17. JuanFalla says:

Yeah, the view fro up there IS beautiful. Specially the last shot after the end.

Oh, and nice shots of you running down the hill, from the two different perspectives. Cool.

  18. Evan says:

Good as always Josh. It’s weird seeing a lake not fozen this far into winter. Here it’s been in the -50′s and -60s almost all week but hopefully spring will roll around and I’ll get to enjoy seeing the beauty of a lake again. Thanks for showing me a sample early!
