German Hiking Part 2

Posted on Friday 25 November 2005

At the end of our trip, we traveled to the Bavarian Alps in Berchtesgaden National Park. A lot more people hike in Germany, but not many young people. Berchtesgaden is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been, and I have spent a summer in Alaska!

That was a breathtaking view! I’m really enjoying your posts about Germany and hiking. Watching your videos may make me more of an outdoors person yet! And the bandana look really suits you :)

Great vid dude ;) We were in Berchtesgaden 2 months ago and yeah it’s awesome. We were going to take the arial tram up Jenner, but the top half was closed due to wind, so we went to Kehlsteinhaus instead which was great. You can see a few pics of it at: here

Yes, you could be huffing and puffing on the highest mountain, away from everyone and anyone, then lo an behold, an ol’ timer comes down the mountain ahead of you, as it he or she were taking an afternoon stoll. The Europeans love their mountains.

Hey, nice vlog. And also nice to see what you guys thinking about the german scenery. Good point that we have an restaurant on every top on the mountain. But you have to understand that we have to get the money out of the tourist everywhere we can!
Will follow this vlog in the future…
    Greetings from Germany

This makes me want to go hiking in Germany this summer. I have always wanted to hike in another country, but I was unsure of which one would provide the best experience. Germany is definitely a contender.
