I was inspired to get outside of the city of Grand Rapids and explore some of the more rural areas of Michigan. In my search, I found something that was very interesting.

I don’t know if the family who owned the farm is watching, but I hope they are – it’s was a very nice view into their lives.

Who says you never meet interesting people. This is a good example of how Vlogs can be longer than 2 or 3 minutes and be totally watchable.

Nice video, Josh. Any time you can get out of the city you can find some really wonderful people with good stories to tell. Actually, you can find that in cities too, but the scenery is better in rural areas.

Hey, could you vlog your plans for Europe? Show us on the map where you are heading, who you are meeting up with, and what you want to do over there? What expectations do you have, this being your first time outside the US ever? It would be interesting to compare your vision of Europe Before you go, and then compare that with after.

Great to see these cattle in the U.S. My father spent a lot of time in the Scottish highlands while learning to be a shepherd / border collie guy and we always marvelled at his images of the Highland Cattle. Majestic in a prehistoric kind of way, no?
Your videos/vlogs as always are fabulous. I’m curious as to your position on “corporate sponsorship” for Vlogging. I’ve heard that many of the vloggers involved in the yahoo group are actually “paid to vlog”. Your comments?

Josh–these are very, very cute cows. I can’t believe how docile they were! When we go out to Bre’s folks’ sheep farm I wouldn’t dare get near the rams. Good job coming up with something new and interesting…still waiting on the hot dog stand, though.

nice one josh. my favorite “bittersweet” part was watching the bull standing by itself as you hear the cars going by in the background.
i never would have thought such intimidating looking animals could be so docile and sweet. isn’t it often like that?
