Artifacts

Posted on Wednesday 20 July 2005

This video is a little longer than usual, but I didn’t want to cut any more out. I really enjoy going through things from my past.

I used to have lot’s of artifacts like that before I started videoblogging. Now it’s kind of cool because I just vlog everything and I know the vlog is a somewhat permanent record so I don’t need paper stuff anymore. I had too many boxes.

A beautiful episode! You still have that comedic side to you, obviously. It’s funny to look back at stuff you did when you were younger, and remember something you would’ve otherwise forgotten.

I loved the old school photos, and you did write some twisted stories back then.

Great Blog, Josh. I’m going to have to pull out memory lane next time I get home.

I remember a story I wrote in school and at the time thought it was so great … I wonder if it still exists.

    Thanks

hehe – I love artifacts. You had some great aspirations when you were a kid.
I’m going to have to dig out my old stories and force Clint to listen to them all night long.

How do you add video clips to a blog? Is there a link that I can use? Your site is really cool.

    Hey Josh,

Thank you for inviting me to view your vlog. I wish I had known about you earlier. If you have a chance to check out my website, you’ll see that I know alot of people in the comedy field. I’m not clear on whether or not you want to make films or do stand up. But….You know how to reach me if you want to reach out. Just wanted to thank you for the invite and sing your praises. Well done. Well done and God bless.

I’m so excited. My dad called me today to tell me he’s shipping me 3 DVDs of old home movies from Christmases and family trips etc from my childhood. I’ve got videos from the time I was like 2. It’s going to be most excellent. I’m so excited!

Nice one, Josh. The stories we tell and the memories we make are a large part of what defines us. We are never separate from our past until the stories fade from our memories.

Way to go keeping the memories alive!

Really nice video Josh! I could tell that picture was you before watching the video because of the little crooked mouth – cute :) I have a bunch of stuff like that too. It’s all at my parents, which happens to be where I am right now so I’ll have to go through it. Thanks for the peek into your past. I really enjoyed this one!

My husband and I watched this Friday night (having not much else to do, I plugged the laptop into the TV and showed him some vlogs). We really enjoyed it– he laughed a lot and said yours was the best out of the bunch we saw that evening. Good job! You really are funny.
