Josh you are a very good visual story teller. Your watercolor is impressiive for your fist effort. I look forward to the next one .
Your video is well done.

Consider placing a lamp behind you when you shoot ‘on camera segments’ in side. That will create some separation between you and the background.

well dude, that’s sad…I kind of have a special place myself(and my girlfriend actualy), we call it the VIP, and is the parking lot of Alamo Stadium, here in San Antonio, TX..We like it here ’cause you can see all downtown area from a good view….We go there all the time ’cause it’s very quiet and relaxing(except when there’s an event)….I’ll follow your advice and take some pictures of it, and from it, you never know what could happen..

I watched the vlogs that were available…some were broken links today… not sure what’s up… but wanted to say DUDE! You are a rock star. I will come back to check the links to see if they work from my office, and every day until they do.

My fave so far was the lightswitch. Sure, it’s pandering to cat fans but you know what? Girls will watch! And so will I.

Nice video, Josh, and good music too. That’s good advice you gave about taking photos and filming our “spots”. Mine was the top of the hill by my place where I could see the entire city. There was also a swamp with an old abandoned car smack in the middle. Now it’s completely covered by condos.

I think you have a really cool depth to you Josh. This video was almost poetic, whether you meant it to be or not. The concept of having a place or thing dear to the heart that is taken away by happenstance or the interference of compassionless corporate machinery… well it speaks to a lot of things, expresses the whole concept of loss very well. I was really touched, even though a building in the long run doesn’t amount to much, life is all about meaning and you show this. Also, beautiful water color. You are indeed a gifted artist, please express your heart.

I really enjoyed your video Josh, even though it was in memory of a lost spot. I too have lost a spot. A short drive down the road from my house was all this farmland with the cows, the white picket fences and clean beautiful air. The land is being developed now though, turned into a neighborhood, like every other piece of property near my place. Oh well, I hope you’re able to find a new spot, not to replace the other one, but, just to enjoy. Love the vids, looking forward to seeing whatever other interesting things you do. Maybe someday i’ll have a vlog of my own.

There is a place I used to go to as a teen. It was an old mill; actually just the foundation of the mill and the surrounding grounds, forest and canals. The road to the mill was dirt and led over a wooden bridge. We used to drive to the mill and spend a lot of time dreaming, swimming etc etc. By the time I was 22 the bridge was gone and replaced by a concrete bridge. The mill today is gone…. the forest around the mill has fallen to the developer’s ax. And they call this progerss…
