Smaller Print and Cat Sounds

Did You Know That!?
Men can read smaller print than women; women can hear better.

I am not sure what I would rather have, better eyes or better ears. Sure reading little words is fun and all, but perhaps my better ears would let me hear more beautiful things in music, then I would want better ears. I could always take a really sexist point of view and analyze this phenomenon from there…”Men have better eyes because they were designed to hunt and use their eyes to find animals and aim their weapons, and women have better ears so they can hear their babies crying and then take care of them.” I am curious to whether it is that guys actually have better eyes in general, or just for reading small print…I remember when I would try to find the smallest font possible and then type things in it and read it…..that is what I did for fun, what a lame kid I was. I would also pass notes to friends like Mike Iannarone that were written with the sharpest point of a pencil, the words were so small, I could write a full paragraph in 3 lines of the margin of notebook paper. I find it completly interesting that throughout my studies at Calvin I have found less women to be really interested in music and film than men. In one of my classes we were supposed to bring in a CD and present a song to the class. We alternated guys and girls but it took like 3 minutes every time for a gir to volunteer…maybe they just didn’t want to get up in front of people or something but I have definitley found that guys are way more obsessive over music and movies than girls are…any thoughts why?

Cat Sounds
I have decided that when my cat squeeks and kind of meows, he sounds more like The Cheat or maybe Snarf (right click and press save) from the Thundercats
