Holy cow it is already thursday! I swear things just go faster and faster.

Ok so one of the most awesome things happened to me last night. I was waiting for the reference librarian to finish with another student so she could show me how to use the microfiche, when all off a sudden this girl walks by. She looks at me, and then approaches me and says “can I ask you a question?”
I say “Sure” thinking in the back of my head that it is going to be about something like where the reference books are, or how to print from a certain computer…normal library questions…
“did you play the open mic last friday”
I was surprised but answered “yeah”
“Well you did really well and I thought you were the best act that played all night, I couldn’t get your song out of my head I’ve been singing it all week”
I smiled, said thank you, and then she left…

Now either she was trying to flirt with me or I actually really did a good job. Either way I am pretty flattered. I guess even though a lot of people left, the people that stuck around actually liked me. I was kind of depressed that there weren’t many people there and that even though I told raelson to come he didnt. But now that whole thing last night just gives me more reason to keep writing songs and playing!
